We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Full time Farm Equipment Operator to join our dynamic agricultural team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a wide range of farm machinery and heavy equipment to support planting, harvesting, and overall farm maintenance. Duties
- Operate heavy farm equipment such as tractors, combines, and plows, with precision and safety.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on farm machinery using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and basic mechanical knowledge.
- Manage equipment inspections, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and executing necessary repairs or equipment replacement.
- Support crop growing activities by planting, cultivating, and harvesting crops.
- Maintain detailed records of equipment usage, repairs, and crop progress to ensure compliance with safety standards and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating farm machinery such as tractors, forklifts, and other heavy equipment.
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform basic repairs and welding tasks on farm equipment.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, welding techniques, and general maintenance practices.
- Knowledge of farming practices including growing crops, horticulture principles.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate heavy machinery efficiently in various weather conditions.
