Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Installer to join our team, specializing in residential and light commercial systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC installations with the ability to interpret schematics and design plans. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilizing mechanical knowledge and field service expertise to ensure optimal climate control solutions for our clients. A valid driver’s license is required, and experience with construction, plumbing, refrigeration, and equipment will be highly valued.
Responsibilities
- Install HVAC systems for residential and light commercial properties
- Interpret schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design plans to ensure accurate installation
- Perform plumbing work related to HVAC systems including refrigerant lines and condensate drainage
- Ensure all installations comply with safety standards and building codes
- Maintain detailed documentation of work performed and materials used
- Assist in property maintenance tasks related to HVAC systems as needed
- Operate vehicles safely in accordance with driver requirements
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an installer within the HVAC industry
- Strong mechanical knowledge including refrigeration, boiler systems, and appliance installation
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design plans
- Knowledge of HVAC/R systems including air conditioning units and mechanical components
- Familiarity with field service procedures and troubleshooting techniques
- Basic understanding of plumbing related to HVAC installations
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
