- Perform routine maintenance on truck fleet, yard trucks. forklifts, etc.
- Be available for emergency calls off hours on a rotating schedule
- Inspect and repair including, but not limited to: brake systems, clutches, transmissions, auger assemblies, bearings, springs, air bags, etc.
- Have vehicles ready for and schedule PA State Inspections
- Perform necessary repairs as dictated by daily maintenance logs
- Test drive vehicles to ensure they are running properly and to diagnose issues as reported by drivers
- Schedule and perform routine service including oil changes, tire rotation, clutch and brake adjustments, etc.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Truck or diesel mechanic technical degree preferred
- 2+ years truck maintenance experience
- CDL preferred
- Be able to work varied hours and Saturdays
- Be willing to communicate and able to work with dispatcher to schedule truck repairs and services
