We are seeking a
Medicaid Policy Senior Consultant who will support our client. This role will support state Medicaid agencies in maturing their business processes and policies, implementing new programs, and managing existing ones to ensure compliance and improved healthcare outcomes.
Duties:
- Plan and execute project activities in coordination with a team and senior leadership.
- Support multiple client projects through written communication, policy analysis, facilitation of client meetings, and project tracking.
- Communicate project progress and delivery status to clients and stakeholders.
- Facilitate meetings and manage project action items and reporting.
Mandatory Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in in Public Policy, Health Management, or Public Health, or a similar field
- 10+ years of professional experience in a related field
- 5+ years of experience working for a state Medicaid agency supporting policy initiatives or consulting with Medicaid agencies on policy initiatives.
- Experience analyzing regulations and sub-regulatory guidance to inform the direction of the program along with managing projects and initiatives to implement program changes to comply with the regulation.
- Experience working with Medicaid payment authorities such as waivers and the state plan, including experience navigating the reimbursement portion of state plans.
- Direct experience working with a Medicaid state plan.
- Proficient with Microsoft desktop applications and standard document repositories such as MS SharePoint.
- Willingness to travel quarterly to Gaum.
