Responsibilities
- Develop and implement creative, developmentally appropriate curriculum plans tailored to toddlers' needs, including literacy education, early intervention strategies, and basic math concepts.
- Create a safe, welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration, independence, and social interaction among young children.
- Manage daily classroom routines such as circle time, snack time, outdoor play, and nap schedules with efficiency and care.
- Monitor each child's progress through observation and assessment tools; communicate regularly with parents or guardians about developmental milestones and concerns.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles specific to toddlers and preschool-aged children.
- Experience in curriculum development focused on early childhood education, literacy education, and classroom management.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners.
- Proven ability to manage a classroom environment that supports childcare standards and promotes child welfare.
- Hands-on experience in daycare or private school settings with toddler care responsibilities.
Pay: $21.00 - $26.00 per hour
