This application also requires submission of your Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree college transcripts (if applicable). They do not need to be certified transcripts for application; unofficial but complete transcripts are acceptable. In Step 5 of 6 you will see a “Supporting Documentation”. One of document types available when uploading documents will be “Transcripts”, which is what you should use.
Since the position requires “hours of documented experience” make sure to be specific about start and end dates of positions, either on your resume or in the letter of qualifications.
We recommend combining transcripts or certifications into one document before upload, but if you are not able to you can upload an additional file as “Other”. You can also paste images or screenshots into a single document file and then save as a PDF. Just check to make sure it is all legible and the document will open before you upload.
Your resume and letter of qualifications should detail your training and experience specifically related to the qualifications section listed in the job posting, especially if there is anything that needs to be elaborated on regarding your transcripts.
Submitted materials will be evaluated by a panel of job experts and qualified applicants will be invited to participate in the next step of the selection process.
Permanent classified employees who are eligible for consideration as a transfer or voluntary demotion must complete the application process in order to be considered.
