Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
- Create a warm and welcoming classroom atmosphere that encourages children to explore and learn confidently.
- Supervise and engage with children during playtime, meals, naps, and educational activities to ensure safety and well-being.
- Monitor individual progress and communicate regularly with parents or guardians about developmental milestones and concerns.
- Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment adhering to health and safety standards.
- Apply behavior management techniques to foster positive interactions and resolve conflicts effectively.
- Assist with diapering, feeding, and basic health needs of infants, toddlers, or preschoolers as required.
Skills
- Proven experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or early childhood education settings.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in childcare.
- Certification in first aid and CPR to ensure immediate response to emergencies.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is highly desirable.
- Strong classroom management skills to maintain discipline while fostering a positive learning environment.
- Ability to adapt activities to meet diverse developmental needs of children at various stages.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with parents, colleagues, and caregivers.

Pay: $15.00 - $16.55 per hour
