Job Summary
We are seeking a responsible and attentive Court Monitor to oversee safety and ensure smooth operations within our kids' adventure park. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to maintaining a secure environment for children, adhering to safety protocols, and providing excellent customer service. This role requires focus, attentiveness, and a commitment to creating a fun yet safe experience for all visitors.
Responsibilities
- Monitor children during their activities to ensure safety at all times, keeping a vigilant eye on their movements and behavior.
- Enforce safety protocols rigorously, including proper harnessing procedures—taking the necessary time to ensure harnesses are correctly fitted before allowing children to proceed.
- Process cash transactions accurately using POS systems, maintaining attention to detail during each transaction.
- Follow all safety procedures and operational guidelines consistently to uphold a secure environment for guests and staff.
- Maintain professionalism by staying off personal devices while at your station or when interacting with customers, demonstrating focus and attentiveness.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians, addressing concerns politely and ensuring their confidence in the safety measures in place.
- Assist with general park operations as needed, supporting team members in delivering an enjoyable experience for all visitors.
Qualifications
- Prior experience working with children is preferred, demonstrating patience and understanding of their needs.
- Familiarity with POS systems or cash handling is advantageous.
- Ability to follow safety protocols meticulously and prioritize guest safety above all else.
- Strong attention to detail, especially when securing harnesses or performing safety checks.
- Excellent observational skills with the ability to remain alert for extended periods.
- Professional demeanor with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to stay focused and avoid distractions during work hours.
