Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Coordinator to manage and optimize our supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the logistics processes, ensuring efficient transportation, warehousing, and inventory management. This role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to work collaboratively with various teams to enhance our logistics performance.
Duties
- Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations, ensuring timely delivery of goods.
- Manage warehouse distribution activities, including shipping and receiving processes.
- Conduct data analysis to identify trends and areas for process improvement within logistics operations.
- Collaborate with suppliers and vendors for procurement, sourcing, and contract negotiations.
- Implement transportation management strategies to optimize freight costs and delivery schedules.
- Engage in demand planning and production planning to align inventory levels with business needs.
- Manage suppliers and logistics to enable on-time and predictable delivery of samples and purchase orders at reasonable cost.
- Interacts with accounts payable and finance departments to validate purchase and payables compliance and reconciling invoice discrepancies
- Issue work orders for oversea warehouse to schedule shipments
Experience
- Associates or bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or other qualified degree with 1 to 3 years of related experience.
- Must be detail oriented with good analytical ability and excellent computation skills.
- Highly positive, motivating, and results-focused attitude, excellent interpersonal skills
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
