Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Assistant Dairy Frozen Manager to join our team. This role involves supporting the management of dairy and frozen food departments, ensuring smooth daily operations, maintaining product quality, and delivering excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will be proactive, organized, and possess strong leadership skills to assist in managing staff and inventory while upholding company standards.
Responsibilities
Assist in supervising daily store operations within the dairy and frozen food sections, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards. Support inventory management by monitoring stock levels, conducting stock rotations, and minimizing waste. Help oversee merchandising efforts to maintain attractive product displays that enhance sales. Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries professionally and resolving issues promptly. Assist in training new team members on store policies, POS systems, and customer service protocols. Support shift management duties by coordinating staff schedules and ensuring smooth transitions. Contribute to sales goals through effective upselling techniques and promotional activities.
Requirements
Previous assistant manager or supervisory experience in retail or grocery stores is preferred. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage inventory control, pricing strategies, and store merchandising. Excellent communication skills in English; multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus. Proficiency with POS systems, cash handling, and retail math is essential. Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience in team management and training & development. Knowledge of purchasing, budgeting, payroll processing, bookkeeping, and store management practices is highly desirable. Ability to work efficiently under pressure with excellent time management skills.
