Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Automotive Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of automotive electrical systems and be proficient in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various vehicle models, particularly GM vehicles. This role requires hands-on experience with schematics, hand tools, and welding techniques, as well as the ability to align and transmit data for advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS).
Duties
- Diagnose and repair automotive electrical systems, ensuring optimal performance of vehicles.
- Perform maintenance tasks on GM vehicles, adhering to dealership standards.
- Utilize schematics to troubleshoot and resolve complex automotive issues.
- Operate hand tools and welding equipment safely and effectively.
- Align vehicle components to manufacturer specifications.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs and maintenance services.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while following safety protocols.
Experience
- Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or similar role in a dealership setting is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems and their components.
- Familiarity with ADAS technology is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics accurately.
- Proficient in using hand tools and welding equipment for repairs.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
