Job Summary
SWS-Trimac, Inc. is seeking to fill a Lead Supervisory role in a job shop environment, with paid holidays and performance bonus opportunities. Candidate will be responsible for the effective and efficient use of his/her resources to meet customer needs throughout the manufacturing process. Much of the day-to-day activities will be learned while on the job, however typical tasks will include;
Duties
· Direct workflow, expedite materials and managing production resources
· Identifies departmental supply and service needs and coordinates the ordering process
· Lead projects for the production in resolution of customer complaints, scrap reduction, efficiency problems, rate improvements, process deviations, sample runs, cost reduction projects and preventative maintenance programs.
· Supervise 10-25 production employees in the manufacturing/job shop environment both Machined and Welded products including support processes.
· Aids in production transfers from R&D to manufacturing
· Collaborates with quality assurance in developing and approving manufacturing procedures and records
· Plan production operations to meet customer needs
· Manage & Measure work by tracking and assigning responsibilities for tasks
· Lead, train and develop direct reports by providing challenging tasks and assignments
· Counsel members in accordance with company policies with issues relating to conduct and performance
Qualifications
Desired experience may be a combination of work experience or education from list below. Additional training will be done internally to fill voids in skill set specific to company needs. Those that have experience in many of these areas below should apply for consideration:
· Minimum 4-6 Years’ manufacturing experience with leadership skills
· Technical/Trade School degree or equivalent Machining or Advanced Welding
· Manufacturing / Business / Engineering or Manufacturing Degree would be helpful
· Strong oral, written, interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
· Strong Blueprint reading and familiarity with GD&T
· Exposure to Multi axis machining via Lathe / Mill / Swill or EDMs
· Any experience with Solid Edge
· Any experience with programming Master Cam / Gibbs Cam
· Familiarity with Quality Control Standards such as AS9100, NADCAP, IATF16949, ISO
· Must have effective communication and customer service skills
Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
