Position Overview:
As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating residents to help them achieve long-term health benefits and improve their overall mobility and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate residents' conditions and develop individualized physical rehabilitation plans.- Help residents improve mobility and functional independence.
- Relieve pain using exercises, hands-on therapy, stretching, and physical therapy devices.
- Assist residents in using physical therapy equipment effectively.
- Guide residents through therapy tasks, monitoring their performance and progress.
- Inform residents about what they should expect at different stages of their recovery.
- Supervise physical therapy assistants when required.
- Contribute to interdisciplinary team efforts to ensure comprehensive resident care.
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Program.- Current New York State PT License.
