Our family, located in Salem, NH is seeking a reliable, experienced, and long-term nanny to care for our 2 children under 3 years old. We are hoping to find someone who can commit to at least one year and become a valued part of our children’s daily lives.
The ideal candidate is nurturing, proactive, highly dependable, and has at least 5 years of experience nannying with experience with both an infant and toddler simultaneously in the same household. Comfortable working as a nanny in a household where the parents work from home.
Start Date: August
Location: Salem, NH
Compensation: $25–$35/hour based on experience
Schedule: Flexible schedule targeting about 33 hours a week.
- M: 9am - 4pm
- T-TH: 8 or 9am - 5pm
- F: Flexible (3-6 hours occasional Friday's off or shorter hours)
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive, hands-on care for both children throughout the day
- Maintain a safe environment as the top priority
- Plan and engage the children in age-appropriate activities that support learning and development
- Maintain a structured and positive daily routine
- Drive children to and from activities including school pickup multiple times a week
- Prepare healthy meals and snacks for the children
- Handle light child-related household tasks, including children’s laundry, dishes, and tidying play areas
- Run occasional family errands such as grocery shopping
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of childcare experience, including prior nanny experience
- Strong experience caring for multiple young children at once, specifically infants and toddlers together in one home
- CPR and First Aid certification
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Comfortable with a cat in the home
- Able to provide 3–5 professional childcare references
