Job Description:
At Atomic Transport, we take pride in being a leading bulk hauling company, Headquarters in Chattanooga, TN. With a dedicated fleet of company-owned assets and W2 drivers, we specialize in waste transportation from local transfer stations to landfills. Our fleet includes over 600 tractors and 900 trailers, featuring top-tier equipment from Kenworth, Freightliner, Mack, and Western Star, powered by Cummins X15, MP-8, and DD-13 engines. We are seeking an experienced Tire Technician with a strong background in commercial tires to support our fleet operations.
This role is responsible for tire installation, repair, maintenance, and service calls, ensuring our equipment remains safe and road ready.
What We Offer:
- Pay: $18–$22 per hour (based on experience)
- Weekly pay + overtime (time and a half)
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, with Saturdays as needed

Key Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, mount, balance, and rotate commercial tires
- Perform tire inspections to ensure proper pressure, wear, and safety compliance
- Respond to roadside service calls as needed
- Service and maintain tires across fleet vehicles and trailers
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Maintain accurate records of tire services and repairs
- Keep shop, tools, and equipment clean and organized
- Follow all company safety procedures and DOT regulations
- Provide professional and courteous service when interacting with team members

Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum 1 year of verifiable experience with commercial tires
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- CDL-A or CDL-B preferred, but not required
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Working knowledge of DOT vehicle maintenance regulations
- Ability to lift heavy tires and work in various weather conditions
Wage Range: 18.00 - 22.00 per hour
