TIGER SUSHI – ALL YOU CAN EAT
At Tiger Sushi, we are looking for high-performing servers who can deliver excellent guest experience while maintaining speed, efficiency and sales performance in a fast-paced all-you-can-eat (AYCE) environment.
This role is not just traditional serving — it requires strong multitasking, upselling ability and table management to maximize both guest satisfaction and restaurant revenue.
Key ResponsibilitiesGuest Experience
- Greet and welcome guests in a professional and friendly manner
- Clearly explain the AYCE dining system (time limits, ordering process, leftover policy)
- Provide menu guidance and make confident recommendations
- Proactively check on guests and ensure satisfaction throughout the dining experience
Order Management & Service Execution
- Accurately take and enter orders into the POS system
- Deliver food promptly and ensure correct items are served
- Monitor tables continuously to anticipate guest needs
- Maintain clean, organized and presentable tables at all times
Sales & Upselling
- Promote beverages, premium menu items and add-ons
- Increase average check size through effective suggestions
- Encourage efficient ordering patterns to reduce waste and delays
Operational Efficiency
- Manage table flow and turnover (high-volume environment)
- Coordinate with kitchen and front-of-house team to ensure smooth service
- Help minimize food waste by guiding guests on appropriate ordering
- Handle payments accurately and efficiently
Performance Expectations
This position is performance-driven. Top servers are expected to consistently deliver:
- Fast table turnover (target: 60–90 minutes per table)
- Strong upselling performance (beverages and premium items)
- High guest satisfaction (reflected in online reviews and tips)
- Low food waste / minimal leftover issues
- High accuracy in order taking and execution
Requirements
- English communication skills (required)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant environment
- Strong multitasking and time management skills
- Positive attitude with a strong sense of urgency
- Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in sushi or AYCE restaurant environments
- Experience with POS systems (TopServ, Toast, Clover, etc.)
- Proven track record in upselling and customer service
Work Conditions
- Hourly pay + tips
- Flexible scheduling (minimum of three shifts/week)
- Training period provided (typically 2-4 weeks)
- Fast-paced, team-oriented work environment
