Professional Home Organizer – Essex and Hudson County, NJ
(Part-Time, Independent Contractor)

We are looking for a self-motivated, compassionate, and detail-oriented Professional Organizer to lead residential organizing projects in Essex and Hudson County. The ideal candidate is non-judgmental, thrives in messy environments, and understands that organizing is as much about people as it is about spaces.
What You’ll Do:
- Work one-on-one with clients to declutter, organize, and optimize their home spaces
- Provide support and guidance with a professional and understanding approach
- Pack and unpack spaces, light moving of boxes and furniture
- Plan and execute organizing projects efficiently
- Travel to client homes (up to 60 minutes)
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold a high level of professionalism
- Have 20 hours of availability each week
What We’re Looking For:
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Basic computer skills for scheduling and communication
Emotional intelligence and relationship-building skills
Willingness to get hands-on and dive into messy spaces
Availability for 20 hours per week
Reliable transportation and flexibility to travel within the region
Bonus Skills (Not Required, but a Plus!):
- Interior design or space-planning experience
- Bilingual abilities
- Willingness to travel beyond an hour for special projects
Position Details:
Contractor Position (1099)
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour (Depending on experience)
Part-time (12-20 hours/week, flexible schedule)
