American Traveler is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist with at least 1 year of experience for a day-shift, Monday–Friday contract position in a therapy services setting in Hoopeston, IL.

Day shift, Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM (hours variable)

40 hours per week, 8 hours per day

Epic EMR — experience required

Active OT license (IL) required — temp license accepted if applicable

BLS (AHA) certification required

Minimum 1 year of relevant occupational therapy experience

Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Evaluate and treat patients of all ages across a range of diagnoses
-
Design and adjust individualized plans of care integrating goals, treatments, outcomes, and discharge planning
-
Perform patient examinations and screenings using evidence-based methods
-
Educate patients, families, caregivers, students, and other healthcare providers using appropriate teaching methods
-
Document evaluations, care plans, and patient responses to treatment per department policy
-
Supervise and monitor support personnel in accordance with legal and ethical standards
-
Serves as a clinical resource and role model for staff and students
-
Candidates who have been on assignment with this health system for more than 1 year must take a 6-month break in service before returning to any facility within the system
-
RTO is not to exceed 7 days per 13-week contract
