What You'll Bring:

Business curriculum preferred and three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Previous experience in a hospital, physician practice, clinic, or healthcare setting preferred.

How You'll Make an Impact :

Coordinates outpatient rehabilitation registrations, insurance verification, and financial classification.

Registers patients and manages authorizations using CPSI and Aprima.

Verifies physician orders with providers, patients, and the rehabilitation department.

Obtains and documents required prior authorizations from insurance payers.

Collects and updates patient demographic and insurance information.
-
Communicates benefit information and estimated patient responsibility to Patient Financial Counseling.

Assists the Business Office with appeals related to authorization denials.
