Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Carpenter Apprentice (Residential) to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience in residential carpentry projects, assisting skilled carpenters with a variety of tasks that build beautiful, functional homes. Responsibilities
- Assist experienced carpenters with constructing, installing, and repairing residential structures using hand tools and power tools for woodworking.
- Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure accurate project execution.
- Perform tasks such as framing, siding installation, door hanging, flooring installation, tile laying, and fixture installation.
- Operate woodworking machines safely and efficiently while adhering to power tool safety protocols.
- Support demolition, restoration, water damage remediation, mold remediation, and remodeling projects as needed.
- Prepare construction sites by measuring, cutting, assembling materials, and performing heavy lifting tasks.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while following all safety guidelines related to power tools and construction site procedures.
Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of carpentry principles including framing, trim carpentry, and woodworking techniques.
- Familiarity with construction estimating and reading blueprints or technical drawings is preferred.
- Experience working with hand tools and power tools for woodworking; safety training on power tools is a plus.
- Prior construction site experience or residential carpentry exposure is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently on active job sites.
- Strong attention to detail with good interpretive skills for technical plans and drawings.
- Enthusiasm for learning new skills within the construction industry and a proactive attitude toward teamwork.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
