Maintenance Supervisor
Vista Multifamily Management, Inc. - Ventana Ridge Apartments, Dallas, TX
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance operations at our apartment community in Dallas, TX. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who understands how to keep an older property running efficiently while maintaining high standards for apartment turns and resident service.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise the onsite maintenance team
- Manage and complete service requests in a timely manner
- Oversee full apartment turns including scheduling, quality control, and readiness for move-ins
- Diagnose, repair, and replace HVAC systems when needed
- Perform plumbing, electrical, appliance, and general maintenance repairs
- Manage preventative maintenance programs
- Order parts and supplies and manage maintenance inventory
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed
- Maintain property grounds, buildings, and common areas
- Participate in the on-call rotation for emergency maintenance
- Use maintenance software and computer systems to track work orders and property needs
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of apartment maintenance experience
- Prior Maintenance Supervisor or Lead Technician experience preferred
- Strong HVAC repair and replacement experience
- EPA Certification required
- Strong knowledge of apartment turns and make-ready processes
- Computer savvy and comfortable using maintenance management software
- Experience with plumbing, electrical, appliances, and general building systems
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work indoors and outdoors
- Valid driver's license
