More details: We are seeking a compassionate, dedicated Caregiver who can provide essential support to individuals who need help with daily living activities. The ideal candidate will have experience in senior care settings, such as nursing homes or assisted living facilities, and will ensure the comfort and well-being of our clients. This role requires adherence to care plans and HIPAA regulations while maintaining a clean, safe environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Monitor patients' health and report any changes in their condition to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
- Implement individualized care plans tailored to each client's needs, ensuring compliance with established guidelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized living space for clients, promoting hygiene and safety.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life.
- Assist with mobility and transportation needs as required.
- Document care provided and maintain accurate records in accordance with HIPAA standards.
- Collaborate with other healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive care delivery.
Requirements
- Previous experience in caregiving, nursing home, assisted living, or group home settings is preferred.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining client confidentiality.
- Ability to perform patient monitoring effectively and respond appropriately to emergencies.
- Strong understanding of care plans and the ability to follow them accurately.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others.
- Physical stamina to assist clients with mobility and perform caregiving tasks throughout the day.
