American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Orthopedics position in Billings, MT, requiring at least 1 year of Med/Surg Ortho experience and Epic proficiency on night shifts.

Med/Surg Orthopedic unit within a regional hospital setting

Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (36 hrs/week)

Epic EMR used for charting

Floating to other departments may be required based on business need

On-call may be required during regularly scheduled shifts

Active MT or Compact RN license required — no pending licenses accepted

Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg Orthopedics RN experience required

Certifications required: BLS (AHA only), ACLS/NRP/PALS as appropriate for the unit — must not expire prior to start date

ASN from an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred

DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for orthopedic patients

Performs patient education, health counseling, and reviews/monitors therapy and treatment plans

Documents patient care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines

Former permanent Intermountain staff must have been separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
