We are currently seeking experienced Class A or Class B CDL Drivers to join our growing team.
All applicants must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening and meet DOT requirements.
Job Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport materials, equipment, and supplies to and from job sites.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Maintain accurate driver logs and required DOT documentation.
- Assist with loading and unloading materials as needed.
- Follow all company safety policies, DOT regulations, and traffic laws.
- Maintain assigned equipment in a clean and safe operating condition.
- Work closely with supervisors, dispatch, and field personnel to ensure efficient project operations.
- Perform light labor duties as needed to support paving operations.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Ohio Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Clean driving record and ability to meet company insurance requirements.
- Current DOT Medical Card or ability to obtain one.
- No automatic restriction.
- Previous construction, paving, dump truck, or commercial driving experience preferred.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Dependable attendance and punctuality.
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety.
- Ability to work occasional weekends with advance notice.
- High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
Work Environment
- Outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
- Frequent climbing, lifting, bending, and physical activity.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Seasonal hours may vary based on workload and weather conditions.
