Responsibilities
- Lead and care for a classroom of up to 18 children in our 3-year-old program
- Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with the curriculum
- Foster children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and daily activities
- Monitor classroom behavior using positive guidance techniques
- Follow all licensing regulations, health and safety standards, and center policies
- Complete daily classroom cleaning and organization procedures
Qualifications
Required:
- Previous experience working in a licensed childcare center or preschool (experience with 3-year-olds preferred)
- CDA (Child Development Associate) or TCC (Technical Certificate of Credit) required, or willingness to obtain
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Ability to pass all required background checks
