Our client is currently seeking or in need of a dependable Equipment Operator for a warehouse facility in New Castle, Delaware. The right candidate will play an important role in keeping materials moving efficiently throughout the warehouse while supporting shipping, receiving, and general warehouse operations. The Day-to-Day:
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment to move products and materials throughout the facility
- Load and unload products from trucks and other vehicles safely and efficiently
- Perform regular maintenance checks on equipment and report any issues promptly
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment
- Follow all company safety procedures and warehouse guidelines at all times
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Valid forklift operator certification required
- At least 1 year of experience operating a forklift in a warehouse environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety practices
Pay Rate:
- $17.00 to $20.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 1st Shift: 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
