Druven is a dynamic and growing Los Angeles-based law firm with a significant international focus. We are looking for a business lawyer for the litigation team to support maters in New Jersey and New York. This is a position for someone at an stage in her or his career looking to connect with a modern practice.
Litigation cases are all business-related, with a frequent international component, so the successful candidate should be comfortable with a range of business topics. Must be capable of making in-person court appearances when needed (although so much of what is done now is remote).
Qualifications:
- A Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA accredited law school.
- A license to practice law in New Jersey and New York.
- Excellent ability to write clearly and concisely.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Must be admitted to both the New York and New Jersey state bars, capable of making in-person court appearances when needed, skilled with depositions, and willing to support the lead day-to-day lawyer on cases. Trial experience and interest is very helpful but not essential, along with significant experience in law and motion.
