Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mechanical maintenance within a manufacturing facility.
3rd shift
8pm - 4:30am + overtime & weekends as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues with plant equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance to avoid breakdowns.
- Maintain and repair building systems, conveyor belts, and equipment (e.g., HVAC, lighting, forklifts).
- Conduct small repairs to reduce downtime until permanent fixes can be made.
- Ensure compliance with safety, food safety, and company procedures.
- Support team by completing other related duties as needed.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of maintenance experience.
- Skilled in repairing and maintaining hydraulics, pneumatics, machine shop tools, electricity, or electronics.
- Knowledge of CMMS, lockout/tagout, and boiler operations.
- Experience with ammonia, freon, or other cooling systems.
- Ability to weld small repairs.
- Intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Office).
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Able to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.50 - $35.50 per hour
