Looking instructors to fulfill a few open spots at our studio for private and group lessons. Preferably one who is actively playing/gigging around the Pittsburgh area currently who has a passion for teaching!
*We are looking to hire someone to teach on a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday evening.
*Open positions for Piano (groups or private), Voice (private) and Drums (private).
*Prefer someone who has 5 years of piano experience who is actively playing OR someone with at least a Bachelor's Degree in Music.
Our studio offers lessons to ALL ages - starting as young as 5 or 6 years old for Piano, ages 7 to 8 for voice and other Instruments. We also have lessons for Adult students as well.
Requirements -
1. Hold a Bachelors Degree or Higher in Music
2. Advanced Piano Technique (General Music Theory, Scales, Arpeggios, Chords ... etc)
3. Passionate about training up the next generation of Musicians
4. Reliable transportation to/from studio
5. Available to commit to ONE day of teaching with the possibly extend to additional days of teaching.
8. Ability to teach in a 1:1 setting as well as a group setting if an opportunity should arise
9. Good sense of Humor (We like Punny Folks around Here)
10. Easy going personality who is also organized
11. Punctuality and Communication is a must!
12. Able to use an internet based software on phone/computer/tablet to enter in attendance and schedule for record purposes (Opus1.io)
13. Is comfortable teaching on a Digital Piano for in person lessons at the studio (OR Online lessons via FaceTime, Google Meet Or Zoom if requested by student due to sickness or prior arrangement)

*This is a W2 Part-Time Employee Position*
All candidates will need to obtain OR already have ALL PA teaching clearances prior to being hired and placed on the schedule to Instruct:
- Act 34 - PA Criminal History Report
- Act 151 - PA Child Abuse Clearance
- FBI Criminal History Report (Fingerprinting)
