Job Summary
We're looking for a motivated Solar Sales Representative to join our in-house team in Rochester, Indiana. In this role, you'll work directly with prospective customers to assess their energy needs, develop cost-saving proposals, and guide them through the solar sales process.
What You’ll Do
- Talk with residential, commercial, and municipal leads to introduce the SolarCAM system
- Collect and review customer electric bills to estimate system size and savings
- Build and present financial models and solar proposals using spreadsheet tools
- Deliver sales presentations and walk customers through the buying process
- Manage customer communication and follow-up to close deals
- Assist with contracts, bill of sale documents, and CRM tracking
Qualifications
Required:
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Proficient with computers, especially Excel
- Previous sales experience (any industry)
- Valid driver's license
Preferred:
- Experience in solar or renewable energy sales
- Familiarity with Midwest solar incentive programs (especially Illinois)
- Ability to interpret electric bills and model ROI scenarios

- Base Salary: $50,000/year
- Commission: Performance-based; total comp potential of $100,000+
