Maintenance Technician

What You'll Do
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs throughout the community
- Complete preventative maintenance on building systems and equipment
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and work orders
- Prepare resident rooms for new admissions
- Assist with painting, repairs, and general upkeep of the facility
- Maintain the appearance and safety of the building and grounds, including snow removal, salting, and shoveling as needed
- Monitor maintenance supplies and equipment
- Follow all safety policies and procedures while maintaining a clean and organized work environment
- Work collaboratively with team members to provide a safe and welcoming environment for residents, visitors, and staff
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of one year of building maintenance experience required
- Valid driver's license required
- Knowledge of building maintenance, preventative maintenance, and general repairs
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Dependable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks throughout the workday
