THUNDERBOLT MARINE INC., a full-service Marine repair and refit facility servicing yachts up to 200ft., is accepting applications for a full-time Buildings & Equipment Maintenance Technician. The duties include but are not limited to:
- Routine building maintenance repairs & upkeep such as electrical, ventilation, plumbing, etc.
- Maintenance of forklifts, heavy equipment and machinery
- General grounds upkeep which includes landscaping and maintenance
- General cleaning and upkeep of buildings and grounds
Summary
This is NOT an entry level position. As a Building & Equipment Maintenance Technician, you will be essential in ensuring the optimal operation of our facilities and equipment. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, your role will involve performing routine maintenance and repairs, utilizing your core skills in mechanical knowledge and electrical experience. Your premium skills in HVAC, programmable logic controllers, and hydraulics will enhance our manufacturing facility's efficiency. Additionally, your relevant skills in customer service and analysis will help address issues proactively, contributing to a safe and productive work environment. Qualifications
- Proficient in English with strong communication skills
- Experience in industrial mechanics and maintenance
- Solid mechanical knowledge and ability to read schematics
- Familiarity with electrical systems and high/low voltage operations
- Experience with programmable logic controllers and CMMS
- Knowledge of HVAC systems and hydraulics
- Skilled in using precision measuring instruments and welding techniques
- Strong customer service and analytical skills
