Alpine Optoelectronics, a subsidiary company of Eoptolink Technology, is seeking candidates with expertise in optical and electrical testing of silicon photonic devices. The candidate will join a dynamic team in a startup environment and will participate in the development and characterization of photonic integrated circuits (PICs) for data center and 5G optical network applications.
The candidate’s scope of responsibilities could involve one or more of the following activities:
Perform optical, electrical, and mechanical testing of photonic components (e.g., lasers, modulators, waveguides)
Operate test equipment such as optical power meters, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, and interferometers
Document test results and maintain accurate records in compliance with quality standards
Assist in root cause analysis and troubleshooting of failed units
Support R&D and production teams with prototype and pre-production testing
Maintain cleanroom protocols and handle sensitive optical components with care
Calibrate and maintain testing equipment regularly
Qualifications and Skills
Associate degree or technical certification in photonics, optics, electronics, or related field (Bachelor’s preferred)
Familiarity with fiber optics, laser safety, and cleanroom procedures
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow test protocols
Basic programming or scripting skills (e.g., Python, LabVIEW) is a plus
