- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each child’s needs
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students individually or in groups
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary team members to maximize student progress
- Maintain thorough and accurate documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Participate in team meetings, conferences, and professional development activities
