Overview
We are seeking dedicated construction professionals to join our client’s project management team. Whether you are a seasoned Project Manager ready to lead multi-million dollar federal projects or an Assistant Project Manager looking to sharpen your technical skills and grow into a leadership role, the client provides a collaborative environment focused on safety, quality, community, and professional development. These roles are open for the Ballston Spa, NY office and the Springfield, MA office.
Core Responsibilities (Shared)
- Technical Oversight: Manage and review submittals, RFIs, shop drawings, and contract documents to ensure alignment with specifications.
- Documentation: Maintain precise project logs, schedules, and meeting minutes to ensure transparency across all stakeholders.
- Collaboration: Work hand-in-hand with On-Site Superintendents and subcontractors to ensure project milestones are met safely and efficiently.
- Financial Health: Assist in tracking costs, managing change orders, and overseeing project closeout documentation and punch lists.
Role Specifics
PM:
- Primary Focus: Strategic leadership, mentoring, and full financial accountability.
- Experience: 10–15+ years in commercial construction.
- Leadership: Mentors junior staff; leads client and upper-management meetings.
- Financials: Prepares accurate forecasts, cost analyses, and manages cash flow.
- Certifications: OSHA 30, First Aid/CPR, QCM.
- Pay: $75k-150k Salary
APM:
- Primary Focus: Tactical support, document control, and project coordination.
- Experience: 2+ years in construction or project coordination.
- Leadership: Supports the PM/Superintendent; acts as a liaison for subcontractors.
- Financials: Monitors vendor invoicing, budgets, and tracks warranty certificates.
- Certifications: Willingness to obtain OSHA 30, First Aid/CPR, QCM.
- Pay: $50k-$75k Salary
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, architecture, or a related field.
- Proficient with project management software (Procore, Primavera, MS Project, etc.).
- Strong knowledge on construction principles, safety standards, and engineering practices.
- Excellent organizational, problem solving, and decision making skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication at all levels.
- Security clearance or ability to achieve clearance for federal projects.
- Willingness to travel to work sites.
Pay: $50,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
