KBW Financial Staffing & Recruiting is working with a client in Brunswick, ME looking to add a Controller to the team! This is an excellent opportunity with a competitive salary and benefits package.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and ensure the accuracy of financial records.
- Manage the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
- Maintain accounting policies, procedures, and compliance
- Prepare and review financial statements, and reports
- Support cash management, and forecasting
- Assist with budgeting
- Coordinate annual audits
- Lead, mentor, and develop members of the accounting team
- Review journal entries, and account reconciliations
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role
- Experience using an ERP system such as Intacct, NetSuite, Dynamics
- Strong Excel skills (pivots, VLOOKUPs, etc.)
Compensation: $120-130k/year DOE
