Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a CNC Lathe Operator, This full-time role is an on-site position based in Hubbard, OR. The CNC Lathe Operator sets up, operates, and monitors CNC lathes to produce precision components according to engineering drawings and specifications. Daily responsibilities include loading materials, selecting and installing tooling, adjusting machine settings, and performing basic program edits to ensure efficient production. The role also involves inspecting parts for accuracy and quality, documenting measurements, maintaining equipment and work areas, and working closely with the production and quality teams to meet schedules and safety standards. The operator is expected to follow all safety procedures, support continuous improvement efforts, and contribute to a reliable and productive manufacturing environment.
Qualifications
- Strong CNC machine operation skills, including Machine Operation and Machinery familiarity.
- Experience in Machining and Milling in a production or job-shop environment.
- Proficiency in Quality Control practices, including measuring parts and interpreting inspection results.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions.
- Basic knowledge of CNC programming, offsets, and tooling selection is preferred.
- Commitment to safety, housekeeping, and adherence to manufacturing best practices.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with production and quality teams.
- Previous experience as a CNC Lathe Operator or similar machining role; vocational or technical training in machining is a plus.
