We are looking for a driven, high-character Sports Performance Coach to join our team as we launch our new Edina location in partnership with Six One Two Football.
Our new Edina facility will bring together high-level sports performance training and football development under one roof, giving athletes access to an environment built specifically for their development.
THE OPPORTUNITY
This position will begin part-time with the opportunity to grow into a full-time role as our Edina location grows.
Before opening the new facility, our selected coach will complete a 2-4-week paid internship/onboarding period at our Hutchinson location.
During those four weeks, you'll learn:
- The Nekton training system and coaching philosophy
- How we assess and develop athletes
- Speed, strength, power, and movement development
- Our programming and athlete progression systems
- How to operate our performance technology and equipment
- Our expectations for coaching, communication, and athlete experience
- The culture we expect to carry into our new Edina location
Our goal isn't simply to hire someone and hand them workouts.
We want to develop a coach who can help us build Nekton in Edina.

A degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Strength & Conditioning, or a related field is preferred, but character, coaching ability, and willingness to learn matter greatly to us.
Previous sports performance or strength & conditioning experience is preferred.
