Duties
- Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and quality standards, ensuring consistency and freshness
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations, including washing dishes, bussing tables, and sanitizing work areas
- Support food safety protocols by following proper handling procedures and maintaining hygiene standards
- Operate POS systems such as TOAST POS for order processing and transaction accuracy
- Help with inventory management by stocking supplies, checking expiration dates, and notifying supervisors of shortages
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy periods and special events like banquets or large group functions
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality is highly preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm to learn is key!
- Knowledge of food handling safety standards and proper sanitation practices
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing for extended periods, lifting moderate weights, and bending frequently
- Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members and interact courteously with guests
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment, cooking techniques, and food preparation processes
