Job Summary:
The Interior Site Superintendent is responsible for the on-site supervision and coordination of interior renovation projects, with a focus on occupied rehabilitation. This includes supervising subcontractors, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship, maintaining safety protocols, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
Responsibilities/Duties:
- Supervise and coordinate all interior construction activities on-site.
- Review blueprints and schematics to plan daily work activities.
- Coordinate scheduling of subcontractors, inspectors, and vendors to ensure timely project completion to approved plans.
- Ensure adherence to local permitting and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain a safe job site and ensure compliance with NYC building codes, OSHA standards, and local law.
- Conduct employee toolbox talks, safety meetings, and manage safety logs and Daily Logs.
- Conduct daily inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and quality control measures
- Manage subcontractors, staff, and ensure compliance with health, safety and DOB regulations.
- Facilitate and lead subcontractor meetings to ensure alignment of project goals, timelines, and expectations.
- Address design problems and implement change orders as needed and resolve construction challenges efficiently.
- Monitor project budgets and expenses to ensure cost efficiency.
- Oversee punch list completion and project closeout processes to ensure timely and efficient finalization.
- Prepare schedules to maintain project momentum and mitigate delay.
- ·Contribute valuable input and insights for regular schedule updates to ensure project timelines are accurately reflected.
- Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 5 -10 years’ experience as a site superintendent
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in interior construction with a focus on occupied rehabilitation
- DOB Construction Superintendent License.
- OSHA 30-Hour Certification and SST Supervisor Card.
- Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Premier).
- Proficient in Microsoft software products.

Pay: $120,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
