Responsibilities
- Perform professional mobile grooming services, including bathing, brushing, clipping, de-shedding, and breed-specific styling.
- Groom dogs independently from start to finish while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Assess each pet's coat and skin condition and recommend appropriate grooming care.
- Handle pets safely, calmly, and compassionately throughout the grooming process.
- Communicate professionally with pet owners regarding grooming recommendations and any concerns.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary grooming van.
- Stay current on grooming techniques, breed standards, and industry best practices.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of professional pet grooming experience.
- Ability to groom independently without supervision.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Knowledge of a wide variety of breeds, coat types, and grooming techniques.
- Ability to safely handle dogs of various sizes, breeds, and temperaments.
- Safe driving record, as this is a mobile grooming position.
- Groomers must provide their own clippers and shears.
