Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Manufacturing Operations Manager to lead our production teams and optimize manufacturing processes. Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all aspects of manufacturing operations, including production planning, scheduling, and execution to meet customer demands.
- Utilize ERP systems such as SAP and other Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) tools to coordinate production workflows, inventory control, and supply chain activities.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives through Lean manufacturing principles, process optimization, and waste reduction strategies.
- Oversee quality control processes to ensure products meet stringent aerospace standards and specifications.
- Collaborate with supply chain teams to analyze logistics data, improve supply chain efficiency, and manage inventory levels effectively.
- Manage plant operations by fostering a safety-first culture, maintaining compliance with industry regulations, and optimizing mechanical systems.
- Implement process improvements that enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve overall operational performance.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in production management within a manufacturing environment, preferably in aerospace or high-precision industries.
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP or similar platforms; experience with MRP systems is essential.
- Demonstrated expertise in Lean manufacturing methodologies and continuous process improvement techniques.
- Mechanical knowledge related to manufacturing equipment, assembly processes, and plant machinery.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams, manage cross-functional collaboration, and drive operational excellence.
- Familiarity with supply chain analytics, operations management strategies, and quality control standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Management or related field; advanced certifications in Lean or Six Sigma are a plus. Pay: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
