Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented, experienced, Legal Assistant to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will support attorneys in managing personal injury cases from inception through resolution. Your expertise will help ensure efficient case handling, thorough legal research, and effective client communication. The ideal candidate will be proactive, organized, and passionate about delivering exceptional legal assistance in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist attorneys with all phases of personal injury cases, including case intake, investigation, and preparation for trial or settlement.
- Manage and organize case files using Assembly NEOS Law software.
- Communicate effectively with clients, insurance companies, medical providers, and witnesses to gather information and provide updates.
- Support litigation processes by preparing exhibits, scheduling depositions, and assisting during court proceedings as needed.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of procedural law requirements across various jurisdictions to ensure compliance.
- Handle administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, proofreading documents, and managing deadlines to keep cases moving smoothly.
- Collaborate with team members on project management initiatives to improve workflow efficiency and case outcomes.
Experience
- Prior Legal Assistant experience supporting personal injury law or civil litigation is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of procedural law related to personal injury cases and general litigation practices.
- Proficiency with legal research platforms.
- Experience with legal case management software.
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Excellent organizational skills coupled with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for client interaction and internal collaboration.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
