SUMMARY:
- Picks, packs, and ships supplies and materials to Domestic and Foreign customers in an accurate and timely manner; efficiently and safely transports, sorts, and stocks materials
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Transports incoming and outgoing materials to designated areas utilizing appropriate tools/vehicles to accomplish task including but not limited to hand dolly, forklift, electric dolly, and/or pallet jack.
- Performs quality inspections on incoming and outgoing materials and products.
- Sorts and places materials or items on racks to predetermined inventory procedures.
- Picks, packs, and ships materials and products.
- Maintains a safe, clean working environment.
- Performs required administrative tasks; prepares all required reports and correspondence via Excel.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
- Deliver to Agents / Ongoing Vessels at nearby ports.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- One to two years related experience or equivalent.
- Forklift experience
- Familiarity with shipping practices and handling methods
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to manage priorities and workflow
- Acute attention to detail
- Proficient on Windows applications
- Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Frequently required to walk
- Frequently required to stand
- Frequently required to climb, balance, bend, stoop, or kneel
- Continually utilize visual acuity to operate equipment, read technical information, and/or use a keyboard
- Continually required to lift/push/carry more than 50 pounds
- Occasionally exposure to outside weather conditions
- Specialized equipment, machines, or vehicles used: Forklift & Pallet Jacks.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $25.00 per hour
