American Green Spring Diagnostics Inc. is seeking a motivated Entry-Level Laboratory Technician to join our innovative team. Under the guidance of the Laboratory Manager, you will contribute to establishing and maintaining laboratory operations, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and supporting research activities. Responsibilities
- Perform laboratory techniques including molecular biology methods and other standard procedures to support product development and testing.
- Operate and maintain various laboratory instruments, ensuring proper calibration and functionality.
- Conduct laboratory research activities, assisting in experiments and data collection to support ongoing projects.
- Maintain strict adherence to laboratory safety protocols and standard operating procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Keep accurate and detailed laboratory records, documenting procedures, results, and observations in accordance with company standards.
- Utilize Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) for data entry, tracking samples, and managing information efficiently.
- Use Microsoft Office tools to compile reports, analyze data, and communicate findings effectively.
- Support the organization of laboratory supplies, equipment, and documentation to ensure smooth daily operations.
Skills
- Basic laboratory techniques with a focus on immunoassay methods.
- Proficiency with laboratory instruments commonly used in diagnostics research.
- Strong understanding of laboratory safety practices and protocols.
- Experience with laboratory record keeping and documentation standards.
- Familiarity with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS).
- Competency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for data analysis and reporting.
- Ability to follow standard operating procedures accurately and efficiently.
