- Pay Rate: $17.00–$18.00 per hour
- Schedule: Flexible scheduling required, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Position Summary
The Food Runner plays an important role in ensuring smooth and efficient food service throughout the Club’s dining rooms and banquet events. This position supports servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff by delivering food promptly and accurately while maintaining high standards of service and professionalism.
This is a fast-paced hospitality role ideal for individuals who enjoy teamwork, guest interaction, and providing excellent service in a dynamic environment.
Essential Responsibilities
- Deliver food from the kitchen to dining room and banquet guests accurately and efficiently
- Assist servers and bartenders with guest service needs, including table maintenance and refills
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of service stations and dining areas
- Support banquet setup, buffet service, breakdown, and event transitions
- Help with opening, closing, stocking, and side work duties
- Ensure food presentation and timing meet Club standards
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and service procedures
- Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house teams during high-volume service periods
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant, banquet, or hospitality experience preferred but not required
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
- Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Food Handler or Food Safety Certification preferred
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift and carry trays or items up to 30 lbs
- Comfortable working in busy dining and banquet environments
