## Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide support and care for individuals with diverse needs in various settings, including assisted living facilities, long-term care facilities, and within the community.
## Duties
- Assist individuals with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Support individuals in developing independent living skills
- Teach young individuals on adaptive skills
- Implement individualized care plans and behavior support plans
- Provide transportation for individuals to appointments, outings, and activities
- Assist with medication reminders
- Engage individuals in meaningful activities to promote socialization and community integration
- Perform heavy lifting tasks when necessary
## Experience
### Required Skills:
- Experience working with people with autism or developmental disabilities
- Knowledge of home care and community care practices
- Ability to lift and perform heavy lifting tasks
- Bilingual in Spanish (Preferred)
### Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Proficiency in driving for transportation needs

Pay: $18.50 - $19.50 per hour
