We are currently hiring an experienced Speech Language Pathologist for a 12-week assignment in Phoenix, Arizona.

Shift: Day Shift (8x5) – 40 hours per week
Weekly Pay
Gross Weekly Pay: $3,100.00
(Includes $3,045.22 weekly pay + $54.78 bonus for completing a 40-hour work week)
Weekly Non-Taxable: $1,393.00
Hourly Taxable Rate: $41.31
Overtime Taxable Rate: $61.96
Requirements
- Master’s degree (or higher) in Speech and Language Pathology from an accredited university – Required
- Pediatric experience – Preferred
- Arizona Department of Health Services license (must be obtained prior to start date) – Required
- Arizona Department of Public Safety Fingerprint Clearance Card (must be obtained prior to start date) – Required
- Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association – Required
- ASHA certification or currently in Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) – Required

Overview
This position is responsible for providing speech-language pathology services to a pediatric population, from neonate to adolescent, including evaluation and treatment in the areas of communication and swallowing.
Duties & Responsibilities Primary Duties I. Evaluates and treats patients with communication and swallowing disorders/delays, demonstrating knowledge of normal growth and skills necessary to provide age appropriate services. Uses pediatric based behavior management strategies and matches diagnostic/therapeutic interventions to age and disability of the child. Establishes appropriate treatment plan with age-appropriate goals and target timeframes, which are discussed with family and mutually agreed upon. Maintains appropriate documentation per the Policies & Procedures Evaluates recommended needs for equipment and supplies. Assists in the monitoring of speech pathology students. Performs miscellaneous job related duties as requested.
