Job Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
· Direct and coordinate the activities of employees engaged in production or processing of goods.
· Plans and establishes work schedules, assignments, and production sequences, to meet production goals.
· Calculates Labor and equipment requirements and production specifications.
· Determines standards, production and rates based on company policy, equipment and labor availability, and workload.
· Reviews operations to determine the feasibility of production estimates and evaluate current production.
· Confers with management or subordinates to resolve worker problems, complaints, or grievances.
· Confers with other supervisors to coordinate operations and activities within departments or between departments.
· Reads and analyzes charts, work orders, or production schedules to determine production requirements.
· Recommends or implements measures to motivate employees and improve production methods, equipment performance, product quality, or efficiency.
· Requisitions materials, supplies, equipment parts, or repair services.
· Inspects materials, products, or equipment to detect defects or malfunctions.
· Demonstrates equipment operations or work procedures to new employees or assigns employees to experienced workers for training.
· Monitors or patrols work area and enforces safety or sanitation regulations.
· Sets up and adjusts machines and equipment.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Must have High School diploma or General Education degree from accredited school.
- Must have computer skills in Microsoft office.
- Experience requirement (previous supervisory or management experience in related field): 5 – 10 years of experience
- Communication skills requirement: Ability to communicate effectively (written, oral and spoken).
- Computer skills requirement: Experience with Microsoft Office programs including email, and the ability to learn operational programs for our business known as FAMOUS and RedLine Cooler. Should be able to prepare presentations, develop spread sheets and write proposals.
- General skills requirement: Solid background with proven success in leadership, communication, human relations, financial management and project management etc.
Physical Abilities: Must be physically fit and able to lift heavy material (up to 50 lbs.). Must be able to climb stairs and stand for extended periods of time. As our facilities are temperature controlled to approximately 55°F or 13°C, must be able to work in that environment.
Job Requirements: The incumbent will be committed to customer service excellence and leading by example. A positive attitude in the workplace is required as is the ability to adhere to all human resources, operational and food and health safety policies and procedures.
