Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, cranes, and other heavy equipment to load and unload shipments.
- Efficiently pick, pack, and prepare orders using RF scanners and warehouse management systems to ensure accurate order fulfillment.
- Handle materials with care, including heavy lifting and precise placement to maintain organized storage areas.
- Assist with shipping and receiving processes by verifying inbound and outbound shipments against documentation.
- Support warehouse distribution activities by managing inventory movement, stacking pallets, and maintaining clean work areas.
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to coordinate order picking and ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards.
- Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues promptly, minimizing downtime during operations.
Experience
- Prior experience in warehouse distribution or logistics environments is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to operate forklifts, cranes, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and other heavy equipment safely.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, and order picker technology.
- Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations related to heavy equipment operation and materials handling.
- Experience in shipping & receiving procedures, including load & unload activities and inventory management.
- Warehouse supervision experience or familiarity with construction or industrial settings is a plus.

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
